The candidates for Capiz Governor, Capiz Vice-Governor, Roxas City Mayor, Roxas City Vice-Mayor and Congressman for the First and Second Districts of Capiz from the two major political parties in Capiz -- the Liberal Party and Ugyon --  came out in full force last Friday, February 19 2010, in a forum hosted by the Colegio de la Purisima Concepcion College of Law. Present were, from the Liberal Party: Governor Victor Tanco, Congressman Tony del Rosario, former Vice-Mayor and Mayoralty candidate Alan Celino, Incumbent Vice Mayor Ronnie Dadivas, Board Member and Vice Governor candidate Esteban "Evan" Contreras, former PNP Chief and Second District of Capiz Congressional candidate Roberto Lastimoso, and party. From Ugyon: Former Agriculture Undersecretary and Gubernatorial candidate Jocelyn "Jocjoc" Bolante, Incumbent Roxas City Mayor Vicente Bermejo, Councillor and Vice Mayor candidate Dennis Altobano, Vice Governor and First District of Capiz Congressional candidate Felipe Barredo, and former Councillor and Vice Gubernatorial candidate Mark Ortiz. Also attending the forum are independent candidates Dado Tinsay and former Congressman Roging Dadivas, both running for the Congressional seat in the first district of Capiz.
